No matter how I slice it, this is going to sound cheesy. I'm not going to say CrossFit did it, because it didn't. CrossFit Ares did it.

Don't be intimidated by what you think you know about CrossFit. There's a good chance you'll be pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable and helpful it is to be surrounded by positive and accepting people while working out. It makes it fun - even on the hard days - and feeds a consistent routine.
How has CrossFit changed your life?
It has helped me redefine success, appreciate little wins, and accept that being in shape in my 50s won't look like it did in my 20s AND THAT'S OKAY!

Don’t let anything stop you from giving it a try! It is so much more than “going to the gym.” It is both infinitely scalable and infinitely challenging. CrossFit can meet you where you are today and always give you something a little different. At CFA the focus is on what is going to make you the most healthy, strong, capable person you can be right now and for years to come. And it's also fun.
How has CrossFit changed your life?
It has improved my life so much. I’m almost 50 now, but I feel better than I ever have. I have less pain and life is easier when you are stronger. I am more at home in my body. I am able to do so many things I never thought I’d ever do, like handstands.

It’s a really supportive environment and there are adaptations for every level. It’s really accessible and fun!
How has CrossFit changed your life?
CrossFit has been a game changer for my mental health. I was experiencing some bad anxiety and depression over the last few years and both have reduced. I feel my old confidence coming back. My mindset around weight loss has shifted. It’s not so much about what I look like but more about what I can do with my body. Very happy I started CrossFit!

Do it! It may seem intimidating at first but everyone is so welcoming and the coaches make everyone feel comfortable. Everything can be scaled to your level. It is the best choice I have made!
How has CrossFit changed your life?
Crossfit has helped me feel so much better physically and mentally. I am so much healthier than I was before and feel more confident in myself. It is really cool to finish a workout and say "I actually did that!"

Give it a try! All of the coaches explain every workout thoroughly and make it approachable for everyone regardless of their fitness level. It’s a positive & welcoming community.
How has CrossFit changed your life?
I’ve always been active, but I’ve never lifted weights regularly. I love feeling strong. I always look forward to challenging myself in class.
We have a program to fit anyones needs. The only pre-requisite is a desire to be a little better than you were yesterday.
